- Squid legs (short legs) as needed
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Mirin 1 tbsp
- Seasoned salt a pinch
- Corn syrup 2 tbsp
- Butter 1 piece
Recipe 🍳
- In a pan, add 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp mirin, a pinch of seasoned salt, and 2 tbsp corn syrup. Gently heat until dissolved.
- Add 1 piece of butter to the seasoning sauce and stir until the butter is completely melted and smooth.
- Add the cleaned squid legs to the pan and mix well to coat evenly with the seasoning sauce.
- Place the sauce-coated squid legs in the air fryer basket, spreading them out evenly without overlapping.
- Cook in the air fryer at 160°C for 7-8 minutes, then increase to 190°C and cook for an additional 3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Place the finished grilled squid in a bowl and serve with mayonnaise for dipping, if desired.
