- sea bream 1 piece (cut into chunks)
- starch 3 tablespoons
- chili peppers 10 pieces
- green onions 2 stalks
- vegetable oil as needed
- soy sauce 3 tablespoons
- cooking wine 2 tablespoons
- sugar 1.5 tablespoons
- water 3 tablespoons

- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar, and water thoroughly to make the teriyaki sauce.
- Coat both sides of the sea bream chunks evenly with starch, then gently shake off excess.
- Remove stems from chili peppers and set aside; chop green onions finely.
- Heat a pan and add vegetable oil, then place the starch-coated sea bream in and pan-fry on both sides until golden brown.
- Once the sea bream is fully cooked, pour in the prepared teriyaki sauce and begin simmering.
- When the sauce starts boiling, add the chili peppers and continuously spoon the sauce over the fish to create a glossy finish, then sprinkle with chopped green onions to complete.
