Recipe

Heat the store-bought tteokgalbi in the microwave.
Let the rice cool slightly before using.
Cut the gimbap seaweed in half and attach the pieces lengthwise to form a cross-shaped base.
Spread the rice in the center of the seaweed.
Layer lettuce, the heated tteokgalbi, mayonnaise, then another lettuce leaf and rice on top.
Fold both side flaps of the seaweed inward.
Fold the bottom half up over the top to secure.

Heat the tteokgalbi and cut and attach the seaweed.
Layer rice, lettuce, tteokgalbi, and mayonnaise in order on the seaweed.
Gather the seaweed flaps and fold in on all sides to finish.

Cooking tips

If the rice is too hot, the seaweed may shrivel, so let it cool slightly before using.
For extra flavor, add stir-fried kimchi or cheddar cheese according to your preference.
