Heat vegetable oil in a pan, sauté the sliced onion until sweet and fragrant, then add the prepared tomato and stir-fry together for about 3 minutes until soft and blended.
Pour in 2.5 cups of water, bring to a boil, then add ramen noodles, powder seasoning, and solid seasoning as per regular ramen cooking instructions.
Taste the broth; if too bland, add 1 tablespoon of tuna sauce. Finish by stirring in chopped green onion and beaten egg, then simmer briefly.

Score the tomato, blanch it, peel the skin, and chop it.
