- radish 1kg
- green onion 1 stalk
- medium red pepper powder 4 tablespoons
- minced garlic 1 tablespoon
- ginger 1/3 tablespoon
- New Sugar 1/2 teaspoon
- salt 1 tablespoon
- MSG (miwon) a pinch
Recipe 🍳
- Wash the radish thoroughly, trim the skin, then slice it into even pieces following the grain.
- Rinse the sliced radish quickly under running water to remove the characteristic spiciness and bitterness of summer radishes, then drain completely.
- Cut one green onion in half lengthwise, then slice into large pieces about 5cm long.
- Add medium red pepper powder 4 tablespoons, minced garlic 1 tablespoon, ginger 1/3 tablespoon, New Sugar 1/2 teaspoon, salt 1 tablespoon, and a pinch of MSG to the drained radish slices.
- Mix in the sliced green onions and vigorously toss for 3–4 minutes until the seasoning is evenly distributed and the flavors are well blended.
- Slice radish into matchstick pieces along the grain, rinse briefly in water to reduce spiciness, then drain thoroughly.
- Cut green onion in half lengthwise and slice into 5cm-long strips.
- Combine radish with red pepper powder, garlic, ginger, New Sugar, salt, MSG, and green onions.
- Toss for 3–4 minutes until the dressing is fully incorporated.
