Season it thoroughly with 1/2 teaspoon soup soy sauce, 2–3 drops sesame oil, and a pinch of sesame seeds to make a garnish. To the brisket broth, add store-bought beef bone broth, large mandu (dumplings), and 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic. Bring to a boil, then add the soaked tteokguk tteok and cook together. When the rice cakes and dumplings are cooked, turn off the heat. Pour in 1 beaten egg and let it cook gently in the residual heat until fluffy.Make broth with brisket and dashima, then remove the meat and season it for garnish.Add beef bone stock, mandu, soaked tteok, and minced garlic to the broth and cook.Turn off the heat, add beaten egg and cook with residual heat, then top with the meat garnish and crushed laver.Cooking tips 💡Add the egg off the heat, not when the soup is boiling vigorously, to keep the broth clear and achieve a fluffy, steamed-egg-like texture.Slice the brisket thinly before boiling to extract a deeper broth in a shorter time and make shredding much easier.Recommended for 🙋⭐Those who want to make a clean, deeply flavored tteok mandu guk at home.⭐Those preparing a holiday or special occasion table with an easy brisket garnish and beef bone broth.
