Ingredients needed 🛒3 servings
- 2 bottles of beer
- 1 bottle of soju
- Passion fruit syrup (or concentrate), as needed
- Pineapple, as needed
- 1 lime
- Mango watermelon, as needed
Recipe 🍳
- Wash the pineapple, lime, and mango watermelon thoroughly, pat dry, and slice into thin bite-sized pieces.
- Place the prepared fruits in a glass container. It's good to focus on yellow and green fruits that pair well with beer and provide a refreshing taste.
- Add a generous amount of passion fruit syrup to add a sweet and sour flavor. Since the syrup itself is sweet, no additional sugar is needed.
- Pour in the soju and beer, stir gently, and refrigerate for 2 hours to allow the fruit flavors and carbonation to blend lightly.
- Prepare fresh fruits like watermelon, lime, and pineapple by cutting them into pieces.
- Put the fruits and passion fruit syrup in a container, and pour in soju and beer in an appropriate ratio.
- Let it rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours, then enjoy cold.
Cooking tips 💡
- Since passion fruit syrup is added, it's sweet and delicious enough without any extra sugar or syrup.
- After resting, bite into a piece of watermelon soaked with somaek to enjoy a burst of carbonation and a unique flavor at the same time.
