- chocolate 200g
- butter 100g
- powdered sugar 150g
- egg yolks 2
- biscuit 150g
- hazelnuts 50g
- orange juice 1 tbsp
Recipe 🍳
- Break the biscuits by hand into irregular chunks, leaving some texture to chew on.
- Place the chocolate in a bowl and melt it gently over a pot of boiling water (double boiler).
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the fresh egg yolks and mix until smooth and creamy.
- Pour in the melted chocolate and mix evenly, then add the orange juice for a fresh citrus note.
- Add the prepared biscuit pieces and chopped hazelnuts, then fold with a spatula until just combined to form the dough.
- Place the mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper or plastic wrap, shape into a log, and roll tightly like a salami, twisting the ends to seal.
- Refrigerate or freeze for at least 2 hours until completely firm.
- Dust the outside of the chocolate salami evenly with powdered sugar to resemble a real salami, then slice thinly and serve.
