Yeo Kyung-ok's Silken Tofu Salad

A salad featuring soft silken tofu and crisp iceberg lettuce, dressed with a spicy-tangy Sichuan-style dressing made with doubanjiang and chili oil.

Cooking tips

  • To remove silken tofu cleanly without damaging its shape, flip the pack upside down and slightly cut the corner tip to let air in.
  • If the sharp, spicy taste of raw garlic is too much, you can reduce the amount of minced garlic and still enjoy the dish thanks to the flavors of doubanjiang and chili oil.
  • If you want a more exotic and numbing spiciness, we recommend adding two or three drops of Sichuan pepper oil according to your preference.

Recommended for

  • Those who want a light yet appetite-stimulating healthy meal.
  • Those who want to make a Chinese-style dish super simply without using a gas stove.
  • Those who enjoy the varied texture combination of soft tofu and crisp vegetables.
