- Beef short rib meat: 1.2kg
- Water: 2 cups (360ml)
- Chili powder: 4 tbsp
- Spicy chili powder: 6 tbsp
- Sugar: 3 tbsp
- MSG: 1 tbsp
- Black pepper: 0.3 tbsp
- Soy sauce: 90ml
- Minced garlic: 150g
- Tteok (rice cake): 100g
- Sesame oil: 2 tbsp
- Sesame seeds: 2 tbsp
- Green onion: 200g
- Cheongyang chili pepper: 30g
- Shiitake mushroom: 100g
- Rice
- Chopped kimchi
- Seaweed flakes
- Sesame seeds

Recipe 🍳
- Prepare the meat. Make diagonal scores on the membrane of the beef short rib meat. Score the meat again in the opposite direction. Cut into slightly larger than bite-sized cubes.
- Make the galbi jjim. Place the beef short ribs in a frying pan and sear. Once nicely browned, add water. Add soy sauce. Add spicy chili powder. Add regular chili powder. Add sugar. Add MSG. Add black pepper and mix. Stir well and bring to a boil, then add minced garlic. Add shiitake mushrooms. Add tteok. Add chopped green onions. Add chopped Cheongyang chili peppers. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Drizzle with sesame oil. Done.
- Make the galbi jjim fried rice. Leave a little sauce in the frying pan and add 1-2 pieces of galbi jjim, chopped. Add rice. Add chopped kimchi. Mix well and stir-fry. Spread the rice evenly, add seaweed flakes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Drizzle with sesame oil. Done.
