Ttukdak Hyung's Kkotdori-tang

A premium blue crab chicken braised stew with rich chicken braised stew base plus whole blue crabs and shrimp, creating a refreshing and clean broth.

Ingredients needed 3 servings

Recipe

Cooking tips

  • Blanching the chicken in water with sugar and soju completely removes the gamey taste and makes the broth clean.
  • Adding gochujang makes the broth heavy; for a clean taste, use doenjang and oyster sauce to create deep flavor.
  • If you don't have fine red pepper flakes, lightly grind regular coarse red pepper flakes in a blender.
  • If preparing fresh blue crab is difficult, using store-bought frozen cut blue crab is much easier.

Recommended for

  • Those who want a more refreshing and deep seafood broth than regular chicken braised stew.
  • Those looking for a main dish for entertaining guests or a special dinner.
  • Those who enjoy clean, non-greasy spicy stew dishes.
