  • 170g store-bought ssamjang
  • Green part of 1 green onion

Recipe 🍳

  1. Finely mince the green parts of the green onion on a cutting board and place them in a container.
  2. Cut the ripe, soft avocado in half and remove the pit.
  3. Use a spoon to scoop out the avocado flesh cleanly, then dice it finely with a knife.
  4. Add all the diced avocado flesh and minced green onion to a bowl.
  5. Add the store-bought ssamjang in approximately a 1:1 ratio with the avocado.
  6. Use a spoon or utensil to mash the avocado while mixing it with the ssamjang until the ingredients combine into a creamy, unified sauce.
  7. Transfer the finished sauce to a small dish and serve it with grilled meats or ssam dishes.
