Recipe

Using the back of a knife, gently scrape off the outer skin of the salted mackerel paste to cleanly separate the roe.
In a bowl, combine the mackerel roe, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1/2 tablespoon sugar, and wasabi to taste, then mix well to make the sauce.
Cut the gimbap seaweed into quarters and trim into bite-sized pieces.
Place an avocado slice on a piece of seaweed, add a generous amount of mackerel sauce, then roll it up and enjoy.
