Solo Cooking God Simple Egg Jajang Rice

A super quick one-bowl meal that cooks eggs and jajang sauce in just 90 seconds using only a microwave, no gas stove required.

🙋 Recommended for

  • People who prefer minimal cooking methods and dislike stovetop use or cleanup
  • Those wanting to quickly eat a meal in just 5 minutes during a busy morning
  • Individuals looking to enjoy a unique yet familiar jajang flavor using store-bought all-purpose sauce

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • Eggs 2
  • Instant jajang ramen all-purpose sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Hot white rice 1 bowl

Recipe 🍳

  1. Prepare a microwave-safe bowl and crack 2 eggs into it.
  2. Evenly sprinkle 2 tablespoons of instant jajang ramen all-purpose sauce over the eggs.
  3. To prevent the yolk from bursting during microwaving, poke the yolk several times with a chopstick.
  4. Place the bowl in the microwave and heat in 30-second intervals for a total of three rounds (1 minute 30 seconds), ensuring the sauce doesn’t burn.
  5. Transfer the cooked jajang egg mixture directly onto a bowl of hot white rice and mix well to serve.
  1. Add 2 eggs to a microwave-safe container and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of jajang sauce on top.
  2. Poke the yolks with a chopstick, then microwave in 30-second intervals for a total of three rounds.
  3. Place on warm rice and mix thoroughly to finish.

Cooking tips 💡

  • Never microwave eggs without piercing the yolk first—internal pressure can cause them to burst.
  • Avoid continuous heating; instead, use 30-second intervals to prevent burning or overcooking.
