- 1/2 can Spam
- 10 perilla leaves
- 2 eggs
- cooking oil as needed
Recipe 🍳
- Slice the Spam thinly and evenly so it cooks well.
- Wash the fragrant perilla leaves thoroughly and pat completely dry.
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk well until no streaks remain to make the egg wash.
- Wrap or fold each slice of Spam with a perilla leaf, covering the outside.
- Dip the perilla-wrapped Spam into the egg wash, coating evenly.
- Heat a pan with a moderate amount of cooking oil and place the egg-coated Spam in the pan.
- Cook over medium-low heat, flipping occasionally, until golden brown on both sides.
- Slice Spam thinly; prepare perilla leaves and egg wash.
- Wrap Spam with perilla leaves, then coat with egg wash.
- Pan-fry in oil until golden brown on both sides.
