  • 10 perilla leaves
  • 2 eggs

Recipe 🍳

  1. Slice the Spam thinly and evenly so it cooks well.
  2. Wash the fragrant perilla leaves thoroughly and pat completely dry.
  3. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk well until no streaks remain to make the egg wash.
  4. Wrap or fold each slice of Spam with a perilla leaf, covering the outside.
  5. Dip the perilla-wrapped Spam into the egg wash, coating evenly.
  6. Heat a pan with a moderate amount of cooking oil and place the egg-coated Spam in the pan.
  7. Cook over medium-low heat, flipping occasionally, until golden brown on both sides.
