  • Spam 1 can
  • pancake mix 3 tbsp
  • egg 1
  • breadcrumbs 1 cup
  • parsley powder a pinch
  • cooking oil as needed

Recipe 🍳

  1. Cut the Spam evenly into long stick shapes about the thickness of a finger.
  2. Beat the egg in a bowl until smooth. Mix parsley powder into the breadcrumbs for an elegant color.
  3. Coat each Spam stick thoroughly in pancake mix (or flour), then egg wash, then breadcrumbs.
  4. Pour cooking oil into a small square pan or mini frying pan to a shallow depth and heat quickly.
  5. Place the coated Spam sticks in the hot oil and fry them, turning to brown and crisp all sides, then remove to finish.
