- Spam 1 can
- pancake mix 3 tbsp
- egg 1
- breadcrumbs 1 cup
- parsley powder a pinch
- cooking oil as needed
Recipe 🍳
- Cut the Spam evenly into long stick shapes about the thickness of a finger.
- Beat the egg in a bowl until smooth. Mix parsley powder into the breadcrumbs for an elegant color.
- Coat each Spam stick thoroughly in pancake mix (or flour), then egg wash, then breadcrumbs.
- Pour cooking oil into a small square pan or mini frying pan to a shallow depth and heat quickly.
- Place the coated Spam sticks in the hot oil and fry them, turning to brown and crisp all sides, then remove to finish.
- Cut Spam into stick shapes.
- Coat in pancake mix, egg wash, then parsley breadcrumbs.
- Add a shallow layer of oil to a small pan and fry, rolling until crispy.
