  • soy sauce 2 tablespoons
  • oyster sauce 2 tablespoons
  • corn syrup 2 tablespoons
  • sugar 1 tablespoon

Recipe 🍳

  1. Wash the burdock root under running water, then gently scrape off the outer skin with the back of a knife. Slice it thinly at an angle and set aside.
  2. Soak the sliced burdock root in cold water and gently rub it with your fingers to clean. Drain through a sieve to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a stewing pan, combine soy sauce 2 tablespoons, oyster sauce 2 tablespoons, corn syrup 2 tablespoons, and sugar 1 tablespoon. Mix well until the sugar dissolves slowly.
  4. Before turning on the heat, add the burdock root to the sauce and toss thoroughly. Then turn on the heat and simmer until the sauce reduces to a desirable consistency.
  1. Peel the burdock root and slice it thinly at an angle. Rinse lightly in water.
  2. In a pan, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, corn syrup, and sugar together.
  3. Add the burdock root to the sauce before heating, toss well, then cook over heat until the sauce thickens.
