Ok Jubu's Shrimp and Cabbage Stir-fry
A super simple stir-fry that pan-fries tofu until crispy, then simmers it with sweet cabbage and tender shrimp in a sauce.

Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings
- 1/4 head cabbage
- 1 block tofu
- Shrimp, as needed
- Some green onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Generous amount of oil
- Some teriyaki sauce (or tonkatsu sauce)
- Some gochugaru
- Some sugar
- Some scallions or chopped green onion
Recipe 🍳
- Cut the cabbage into bite-sized chunks, and cut the tofu into similarly sized square pieces.
- Generously oil a pan, add sliced green onion and minced garlic, and heat to infuse the oil with their aroma before turning on the heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the tofu and fry until golden brown on the outside, like deep-frying.
- When the tofu is cooked, add the cabbage and shrimp and stir-fry lightly.
- When the cabbage begins to wilt, add teriyaki sauce, gochugaru, and sugar to taste.
- Turn the heat to high and quickly evaporate the moisture while stir-frying. Plate and top with chopped scallions or green onion.
- Cut cabbage and tofu into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan, infuse with green onion and garlic, then fry tofu until golden.
- Add cabbage and shrimp, stir-fry, then season with teriyaki sauce, gochugaru, and sugar.
- Stir-fry over high heat to evaporate moisture, then garnish with scallions and serve.
