  • jajangmyeon 2 packs
  • onion 1
  • cabbage as needed
  • pork as needed
  • lard oil generously
  • minced garlic a little
  • minced ginger a little
  • oyster sauce 1 tablespoon
  • egg 1~2

Recipe 🍳

  1. Dice the onion and cabbage into small cubes and set aside.
  2. Heat generous lard oil in a pan, then stir-fry the pork and prepared vegetables together.
  3. Add the jajangmyeon powder seasoning and fried noodles, stirring well to create the jajang sauce.
  4. Boil the jajangmyeon noodles separately in a pot of water.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and minced ginger into the sauce; add 1 tablespoon oyster sauce if seasoning is lacking for extra umami.
  6. Add the boiled noodles to the sauce, toss thoroughly, and stir-fry once more. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with fried egg.

  2. Stir-fry pork and vegetables in lard oil.
  3. Add seasoning and fried noodles to make the sauce, and boil noodles separately.
  4. Season the sauce with minced garlic, ginger, and oyster sauce.
  5. Toss boiled noodles in the sauce and finish by topping with a fried egg.
