- 3 eggs
- 50g onion
- as needed mayonnaise
- dinner roll or sliced bread

- Boil the eggs until hard-boiled, then peel them.

- Reheat the soggy French fries in the microwave until warm.
- In a bowl, combine the warmed French fries and boiled eggs, then roughly mash with a fork or cooking tool.
- Once the mashed mixture has cooled to lukewarm, add the chopped onion and mayonnaise, and mix evenly.
- Slice the bread in half horizontally and generously fill with the mixture to complete the sandwich.
- Hard-boil eggs and finely chop onion.
- Mash warmed French fries and boiled eggs, then let cool and mix with onion and mayonnaise.
- Generously fill halved bread with the filling.
Cooking tips 💡
- Since the French fries are already salted, no additional salt is needed other than the mayonnaise.
- Adding mayonnaise to hot French fries and eggs can cause the oil to separate, so make sure to cool the mixture to lukewarm before mixing.
- For a cleaner taste, add a small amount of wasabi or whole-grain mustard to cut the richness if desired.
