Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- 1 pack of squid ramen
- Cheese (as needed)
- Gamtae (as needed)
- 2 soft-boiled eggs
- Olive oil (generous amount)
- 2-3 cloves of garlic
Recipe 🍳
- Grate cheese such as Grana Padano to your liking, and crush the gamtae finely by hand. Then mix the two ingredients together and set aside.
- Out of the 2 soft-boiled eggs, separate the yolk from one and set it aside. Thinly slice the white. Halve the remaining egg for decoration.
- In a pot or deep pan, generously drizzle olive oil and add minced garlic. Sauté over medium heat until golden and fragrant.
- Once the garlic aroma rises, pour in 300ml of water and bring it to a boil over high heat.
- When the water starts boiling, add the noodles, seasoning powder, and vegetable flakes from the ramen package, and cook.
- Mix one or two spoonfuls of the boiling ramen broth into the reserved soft-boiled egg yolk to loosen it smoothly, then pour this into the pan and toss evenly with the noodles.
- When the noodles are cooked to your liking, turn off the heat and place the sliced egg whites on top.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle the mixed cheese and gamtae powder, and top with the halved soft-boiled egg to finish.
- Grate the cheese, crush the gamtae, mix them, and prepare the soft-boiled eggs as needed.
- Sauté garlic in olive oil, then add 300ml of water and the ramen ingredients and boil together.
- Stir in the yolks loosened with broth, toss evenly, then top with cheese, gamtae, and soft-boiled egg garnish.
Cooking tips 💡
- Since the amount of water is less than in regular ramen, the key is to keep the cooking time short to prevent the noodles from becoming too soft.
- Loosening the soft-boiled yolk with hot broth before mixing it in at the end prevents the egg from clumping and creates a creamy texture.
- Adding a touch of black pepper according to taste can enhance the exotic flavor.
