Cooking tips
- When slicing lemons and perilla leaves, use a clean cutting board that doesn't smell of kimchi or doenjang to avoid ruining the cocktail's unique refreshing aroma.
- If you prefer it sweeter, add plenty of sugar to enhance the flavor. If using carbonated water instead of cider, you'll need to increase the amount of sugar.
- If you shred the perilla leaves too thinly with a knife, they can get stuck in your teeth while drinking. Tearing them by hand into large pieces or cutting them in half results in a cleaner experience.
- Since the ingredients were strongly infused initially, you can refill with ice and more drinks to enjoy the mojito 2-3 more times after finishing the initial soju and cider.
