- green onion (white part) 1/2 stalk
- minced garlic 1 tablespoon
- vegetable oil 2~3 tablespoons
- egg 1
Recipe 🍳
- Slice the green onion finely and finely mince the garlic.
- Heat 2~3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan, then add the sliced green onion and minced garlic, and sauté gently until golden.
- Once the green onion and garlic turn golden and release a rich aroma, add the amount of water recommended for the ramen packet.
- When the water begins to boil vigorously, add the ramen noodles, powdered soup mix, and solid ingredients.
- As the noodles cook to the right texture, crack in 1 egg according to your preference.
- Adjust the egg’s doneness, then serve the ramen into a bowl, generously layered with the green onion and garlic-infused broth.
- Sauté sliced green onion and minced garlic in vegetable oil to extract a rich, fragrant oil base.
- Add water and bring to a boil, then add ramen and soup mix to cook to desired tenderness.
- Add an egg to taste, cook through, then serve in a bowl.
Cooking tips 💡
- Avoid high heat when sautéing green onions and garlic—they can burn easily. Use medium-low heat to gently infuse the oil with full aroma.
- Add just a tiny bit more water than the recommended amount and simmer slightly longer than usual to achieve a rich, hearty, umami-packed broth.
- You can substitute green onion with scallions chopped finely—this enhances visual appeal and adds a fresh, distinct chive flavor.
