Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings
- 1 block tofu
- Ground pork, as needed
- 1 egg
- Salt, a pinch
- Pepper, a pinch
- Olive oil, a drizzle
- Tomato sauce, as needed
- Ranch dressing, as needed
- Chopped vegetables, as needed
- Store-bought sliced seasoned chicken breast, as needed
- Mozzarella cheese, as needed
Recipe 🍳
- Place a block of tofu in a cheesecloth and squeeze firmly with your hands to remove as much moisture and water as possible.
- In a large bowl, add the squeezed tofu, ground pork, 1 egg, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Mash the tofu well and knead all the ingredients together until they form a cohesive, sticky dough to make the pizza crust.
- Lightly coat a frying pan with olive oil over low heat, then spread the tofu dough thinly and evenly to shape the pizza crust.
- Cook over low heat until the bottom is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side the same way. If flipping is difficult, place a large plate over the pan, flip the pan, and slide the crust back in—this prevents tearing.
- Spread tomato sauce and ranch dressing evenly over the golden-brown tofu crust, dividing each half.
- Evenly sprinkle chopped vegetables such as onion and bell pepper over the sauce.
- Generously top with store-bought sliced seasoned chicken breast (or regular chicken breast/ham).
- Finally, sprinkle with plenty of mozzarella cheese to your liking, cover the pan with a lid, and cook on low heat until the cheese is fully melted.
- Knead thoroughly squeezed tofu with ground meat, egg, salt, and pepper to make the pizza dough.
- Spread the dough flat in a pan greased with olive oil and cook over low heat until golden brown on both sides.
- Top with sauce, chopped vegetables, chicken breast, and mozzarella cheese, then cover and melt the cheese.
Cooking tips 💡
- Removing as much moisture from the tofu as possible is crucial to prevent the dough from becoming soggy, ensuring a firm and crispy crust on the pan.
- When flipping, the dough can easily tear, so it's safest to use a large plate that fits the pan size—place it like a lid, flip the pan, and then slide the crust back in.
- Using store-bought sliced seasoned chicken breast, which is already tender and flavored, can greatly simplify and speed up the cooking process.
