Recipe 🍳

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 eggs, 1.5 cups of cider, 1 tbsp mirin, 2/3 tbsp soy sauce, and a pinch of salt, and mix well.
  2. Strain the egg mixture through a sieve to remove foam and egg strings.
  3. Pour the egg mixture into a bowl or cup and tightly wrap the top with aluminum foil.
  4. Place the egg mixture in a steamer when the water is boiling, cover, and steam over high heat for 3 minutes to set the shape.
  5. Then reduce to low heat and steam gently for 7 minutes until cooked through, totaling 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the fluffy steamed egg and serve.
