Solo Cooking God's Tuumba Rice Noodle Soup

A rich and spicy reinterpretation of cup ramen rice noodles, enhanced with fatty pork belly, milk, and cheese for a creamy, savory twist on the classic Tuumba-style broth.

🙋 Recommended for

  • Those looking to elevate their cup ramen into a unique and impressive meal in a dorm room
  • Fans of rich, spicy Tuumba-style noodle dishes with a creamy texture
  • People seeking a fresh take on solo meals using pork belly cutlet

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • rice noodle cup ramen 1 pack
  • pork belly cutlet 100~150g
  • onion 1/4 piece
  • milk 2 cups (paper cup)
  • yellow sliced cheese 1 slice
  • green chili pepper 1 piece

Recipe 🍳

  1. Slice the onion thinly and finely chop the green chili pepper.
  2. Place the pork belly cutlet and sliced onion into a clay pot or pot, and stir-fry over high heat.
  3. Continue frying until the meat is cooked through, the fat has rendered out, and the onion becomes translucent.
  4. Pour in 2 cups of milk, then add the noodles and powdered soup mix from the rice noodle cup ramen.
  5. Since the clay pot heats up quickly and the noodles may stick to the bottom, reduce the heat to low and stir continuously for 3 minutes while simmering.
  6. Once the broth thickens, top with one slice of yellow sliced cheese and the chopped green chili pepper, gently mix, and finish.
  1. In a clay pot, fry the pork belly cutlet and onion until golden brown.
  2. Add milk, rice noodle noodles, and soup mix; simmer over low heat while stirring for 3 minutes.
  3. Top with cheese and green chili pepper, and turn off the heat once the broth thickens.

Cooking tips 💡

  • Clay pots have high thermal conductivity, so the noodles can easily stick to the bottom—maintain low heat and stir constantly throughout cooking.
  • For a deeper red hue and seafood or anchovy flavor, add half a tablespoon of chili powder when using seafood or anchovy-flavored rice noodles.
  • The green chili pepper cuts through the richness of the cheese and milk, so it’s highly recommended to include it.
