Recipe 🍳
- Heat generous amount of cooking oil in a pan, add thinly sliced onion and a pinch of salt, and sauté until deeply browned.

- Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with pepper and parsley powder to taste.
- Sauté onion and cremini mushrooms in a pan until deeply browned.
- Add milk, chili powder, tomato sauce, and chicken stock; bring to a boil, then add dumplings and shrimp to cook.
- Once the sauce thickens, place slice cheese on top to melt, then sprinkle with pepper and parsley.
Cooking tips 💡
- Covering the pan while sautéing onions helps reduce cooking time significantly by trapping steam.
- The slightly sour smell when first opening the potato dumpling package is due to preservatives and will naturally disappear during cooking.
- Be sure to sauté the cremini mushrooms until browned without burning them, as this develops a deep umami flavor in the sauce.
