Okjubu's Bibimbukkumi

  • store-bought bukkumi noodles 1 pack
  • gochujang 1 tablespoon
  • red pepper powder 1 tablespoon
  • sugar 1 tablespoon
  • sesame oil generously (about 2 tablespoons)
  • light soy sauce a little
  • minced garlic 0.5 tablespoon
  • vegetables for mixing (cucumber, lettuce, etc.) a small amount

Recipe 🍳

  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the store-bought bukkumi noodles for about 5 minutes.
  2. Immediately rinse the cooked bukkumi noodles under cold water to remove starch, then thoroughly drain all excess water.
  3. In a bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon gochujang, 1 tablespoon red pepper powder, 1 tablespoon sugar, generous sesame oil (about 2 tablespoons), a little light soy sauce, and 0.5 tablespoon minced garlic to make the dressing.
  4. Add the drained bukkumi noodles and sliced vegetables to the dressing.
  5. Gently toss until the sauce evenly coats the noodles.
