Cooking tips
- Since the cooking time is short, be sure to slice the potatoes thinly so they cook through and become tender.
- Removing the skin from the chicken thigh before cooking results in a cleaner broth flavor with less excess oil.
- The glass noodles can easily stick to or burn the bottom of the pan while the sauce is reducing, so watch closely and stir frequently.
- If you prefer a slightly thicker sauce for mixing with rice, proportionally increase the amount of water (broth) and soy sauce.
Recommended for
- Those who want to enjoy a solo drink with a quick and easy meat dish at home.
- Single-person households who find the large portions and price of delivery jjimdak burdensome and want to make it themselves.
- Those who want to make a high-quality dish while minimizing cleanup with one-pan cooking.
