Ingredients needed 🛒3 servings
- sausage 5 pieces
- string cheese 3 pieces
- egg 1 piece
- sugar 2 tablespoons
- salt 3g
- yeast 4g
- warm water 200ml
- cold water 100ml
- flour as needed
- breadcrumbs as needed
- vegetable oil generously
- ketchup a little
- mustard a little
Recipe 🍳
- In a bowl, add 1 egg, 3g salt, 4g yeast, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Mix thoroughly.
- Add 200ml warm water and 100ml cold water, mix well, then gradually add flour until the dough becomes firm and manageable.
- Cover the dough bowl with plastic wrap and let it ferment in a warm place.
- Thread the sausages and halved string cheese onto skewers in alternating order.
- After fermentation, coat the skewers evenly and thinly with the dough, then press firmly into breadcrumbs to fully cover.
- Fry in oil preheated to 170–180 degrees until golden and crispy.
- Drain excess oil, optionally roll in sugar, then sprinkle with ketchup and mustard to finish.
- Mix egg, salt, yeast, sugar, water, and flour to form a firm dough; let it ferment.
- Skewer sausage and cheese, then coat with dough and breadcrumbs.
- Fry in preheated oil until golden, then finish with sauce.
Cooking tips 💡
- Use lukewarm water for the dough—hot water can kill the yeast and prevent proper activation.
- Avoid high heat when frying, as it may burn the outside while leaving the cheese inside un-melted; cook over medium heat for even results.
