Okjubu's Ggolli Tofu Jorim

- Tofu 1 block
- Ggolli pepper 1 handful
- Red pepper 1/2
- Soy sauce 2 tablespoons
- Water 1 tablespoon
- Corn syrup 1.5 tablespoons
- Ginger juice 1/2 tablespoon
- Hulled sesame seeds a little
Recipe 🍳
- Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces, and slice the ggolli peppers and red pepper diagonally.
- Heat a pan with oil, then gently fry the tofu until golden brown without breaking it apart.
- Once the tofu is cooked, add soy sauce 2 tablespoons, water 1 tablespoon, corn syrup 1.5 tablespoons, and ginger juice 1/2 tablespoon, then simmer until reduced.
- When the sauce comes to a boil, add the sliced ggolli peppers and red pepper, and stir-fry briefly to release their fragrance.
- Turn off the heat when the peppers still have a crisp texture, transfer to a serving bowl, and sprinkle with hulled sesame seeds.
- Cut tofu and peppers into bite-sized pieces.
- Fry the tofu in oil until golden brown.
- Add the sauce and peppers, quickly stir-fry to finish.

- Do not overcook the peppers after adding them, or they will lose their crisp texture—turn off the heat while they’re still crunchy.
