- 5 green onions
- 1 onion
- 3 packs gochujang sauce
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3 to 4 tablespoons starch
Recipe 🍳
- Finely chop 1 onion and 5 green onions and set aside.
- Place 600g of ground beef and the chopped vegetables into a bowl.
- Add 3 packs of gochujang sauce, 1 tablespoon light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, and 3 tablespoons starch. Mix well to season.
- Press down firmly on the mixture while kneading until it becomes sticky and elastic. If the mixture is too runny, add an additional 1 tablespoon of starch.
- Shape the mixture into round, flat patties of convenient size.
- Place the patties in a hot pan, sear them, then add a small amount of water, cover with a lid, and cook for 1 minute until fully cooked through and tender.
- Chop vegetables finely and mix with ground beef in a bowl.
- Combine gochujang sauce, light soy sauce, garlic, and starch in the correct amounts.
- Knead the beef mixture vigorously until it develops a sticky texture.
- Shape the mixture into round, flat patties and place them in a pan.
- Add a small amount of water and cover with a lid to steam-cook until fully tender inside.
Cooking tips 💡
- When kneading the mixture, press down firmly against the bottom of the bowl to prevent the meat from breaking apart and maintain shape.
- Adding a little water and covering the pan while cooking prevents burning and allows the patties to steam evenly, keeping them moist throughout.
