Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings
- Chinese or udon noodles for 2 servings
- pork (with fat) 100g
- boiled shrimp 6 pieces
- cabbage 2 sheets
- onion 1/2
- carrot 1/4
- mushroom 1 piece
- sprouts handful
- scallions a little
- green onion 1/2 stalk
- store-bought yakisoba sauce to taste
- liquid seasoning (Korean green seasoning) 1/2 tablespoon
- vegetable oil 2 tablespoons
Recipe 🍳
- Cut pork, onion, cabbage, carrot, and mushroom into uniform strips that won't overpower the noodles.
- Boil Chinese or udon noodles in boiling water, then drain completely to remove all moisture.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pan with finely chopped green onion to make green onion oil, then add pork and sauté until fragrant.
- Once the pork is cooked, add cabbage, carrot, onion, and mushroom, then stir in 1/2 tablespoon of liquid seasoning to enhance depth of flavor.
- When the vegetables are slightly wilted, add the boiled noodles, shrimp, sprouts, and scallions generously.
- Pour in store-bought yakisoba sauce to taste, then stir-fry rapidly over high heat until all ingredients are well combined.
- Dice meat and vegetables uniformly to match noodle thickness.
- Cook the stir-fry noodles in boiling water according to package instructions.
- Sauté green onion and pork in oil in sequence to build rich aroma.
- Add firm vegetables first, then stir-fry with liquid seasoning.
- Combine noodles, shrimp, sprouts, and scallions in the pan together.
- Adjust seasoning with yakisoba sauce and quickly stir-fry over high heat.
Cooking tips 💡
- Use pork with some fat content—its rendered fat greatly enhances the richness of the stir-fried noodles.
- Sprouts and scallions cook quickly with residual heat, so add them only at the final heating stage to preserve their crisp texture.
