• If the ramyeon soup base is too strong, the subtle nutty flavor and richness of the chestnuts can be overpowered. Therefore, using ramyeon with thin noodles and less spicy or intense flavor (like Snack Ramyeon) is recommended for the best results.
• Due to the starch content of the chestnuts, the broth thickens quickly. Reducing the initial water amount slightly compared to regular ramyeon preparation will prevent it from becoming too salty and achieve the right consistency.
• Even if the chestnuts are not completely finely ground in the blender and small pieces remain, they add a pleasant chewy texture after cooking, which can be appealing.
• If you don't have minced pork, you can use thinly sliced beef for bulgogi, or other types of beef or chicken.
