Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- Fresh Udon 1 pack (noodles and solid bits included)
- Milk 1.5 cups
- Slice cheese 1 piece
- Pepper a pinch
Recipe 🍳
- Pour 1.5 cups of milk into a pan, then add the fresh udon noodles and solid bits (crumbs).
- Since the included liquid seasoning can be too salty if added all at once, use only half.
- Once the milk starts boiling, reduce the heat and simmer until the sauce thickens slightly. Be careful not to let the milk overflow.
- When the broth has reduced, turn off the heat or lower it to low, then place one slice of cheese on top.
- Use the residual heat in the pan to gently melt the cheese, then sprinkle pepper and finish.
- Add milk to the pan, then add udon noodles, crumbs, and half the liquid seasoning.
- Simmer while adjusting the heat until the milk thickens.
- Add slice cheese and pepper, then stir using the residual heat to melt the cheese.
Cooking tips 💡
- Milk tends to overflow easily once it starts boiling, so reduce the heat to medium-low as soon as it begins to bubble.
- Do not add all the liquid seasoning at once—start with half and adjust to taste.
