Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings
- tongsuyuk 350g
- finely chopped kimchi 4~5 tablespoons
- onion 1/2
- tongsuyuk sauce 5 tablespoons
- tomato spaghetti sauce 3 tablespoons
- generous amount mozzarella cheese
- cheddar cheese 1 slice (optional)
- generous amount vegetable oil
- a pinch of parsley powder
Recipe 🍳
- Dice half an onion into bite-sized pieces and finely chop the kimchi for easy cooking.
- Heat generous amount of vegetable oil in a pan, then add the prepared kimchi and onion. Stir-fry until soft and fragrant.
- Once the vegetables are cooked through, add the 350g of tongsuyuk, 5 tablespoons of sweet tongsuyuk sauce, and 3 tablespoons of tomato spaghetti sauce.
- Gently stir to evenly distribute the sauce and seasonings, ensuring all ingredients are well coated.
- Once the mixture is well combined, generously sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top and crumble in the cheddar cheese for extra flavor.
- Cover the pan and reduce heat to low. Cook until the cheese melts smoothly and becomes creamy. Finish by sprinkling a pinch of parsley powder.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté diced onion and finely chopped kimchi until golden.
- Add tongsuyuk, tongsuyuk sauce, and tomato spaghetti sauce, mixing thoroughly so the flavors blend.
- Top with plenty of cheese, cover the pan, and cook on low heat until the cheese is fully melted.
Cooking tips 💡
- For hard, cold delivery or frozen tongsuyuk, warm it slightly in an air fryer or microwave before cooking to ensure the seasoning penetrates the inside.
- The addition of tomato spaghetti sauce enhances the distinct pizza-like aroma, while the tangy stir-fried kimchi effectively balances the richness and greasiness of the cheese.
- When melting the cheese, avoid high heat—this can burn the sauce at the bottom. Always use only the trapped heat from the covered pan to melt the cheese gently.
