Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- 7-8 frozen dumplings
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp tomato pasta sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 1/2 onion
- a little chives
- a little bell pepper
- generous amount of mozzarella cheese
- 1 slice of sliced cheese
- a little parsley powder
Recipe 🍳
- Place the frozen dumplings in a microwave-safe bowl, cover loosely with plastic wrap to prevent moisture loss, and microwave for 3 minutes to fully defrost.
- Using scissors, cut the warm dumplings into small pieces, then mash them thoroughly like porridge so the meat and vegetable filling comes out.
- Crack 1 egg into the mashed dumplings and mix evenly with a spatula to create the perfect pizza dough batter.
- Heat cooking oil in a pan, add the prepared dumpling batter, and spread it flat and wide with a spoon.
- Cook over low or gentle heat so the bottom becomes golden and crispy without burning.
- When the bottom is firm and cooked, flip it over with a spatula (manly style!) and cook the other side.
- On the flipped side, spread 2 tbsp of tomato pasta sauce and 1 tbsp of sriracha sauce for a spicy kick, evenly and widely.
- Generously sprinkle diced onion, chopped chives, bell pepper, and any other leftover vegetables from your fridge as toppings.
- Cover completely with mozzarella cheese, then roughly tear a yellow sliced cheese by hand and place on top.
- Sprinkle parsley powder, cover with a lid, and cook over low heat, steaming until the cheese is fully melted using only internal heat.
- Cut thawed frozen dumplings into small pieces with scissors, then mix with 1 raw egg to make the pizza dough batter.
- Spread the batter in an oiled pan and cook both sides until golden and crispy to form the base.
- Spread tomato and sriracha sauces, top generously with chopped leftover vegetables and cheese, cover, and melt.
Cooking tips 💡
- If you don't have tomato pasta sauce, regular ketchup works, but pasta sauce gives a much richer, deeper pizza flavor.
- If the dough tears slightly or doesn't flip perfectly, don't panic; just press it back into shape with a spatula, and the melting cheese will bind it together firmly.
- For vegetable toppings, there are no rules – feel free to use any leftover ingredients from the fridge, like mushrooms, bell pepper, corn, or ham.
