Solo Cooking God's Super Simple Dubu-jang

Ingredients needed 🛒4 servings
- 1 block tofu
- a little onion
- a little green onion
- 2 cheongyang chili peppers
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tbsp chicken stock
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- generous amount of sesame seeds
- a little sesame oil
Recipe 🍳
- Place 1 block of tofu in a microwave-safe container and cut it into bite-sized cubes.
- Add the soy sauce, sugar, water, chicken stock, vinegar, and minced garlic to the container with the tofu, according to the specified amounts.
- Close the lid, shake gently to mix the seasonings evenly, then microwave for 2 minutes.
- While the tofu cooks, finely chop the onion, green onion, and cheongyang chili pepper.
- Add the chopped vegetables and a generous amount of sesame seeds to the microwaved dubu-jang, mix, then let it marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
- Place the cubed tofu and all seasoning ingredients in a microwave-safe container and microwave for 2 minutes.
- Add plenty of chopped vegetables and sesame seeds, mix, then let marinate in the refrigerator.
- Generously spoon the dubu-jang and its sauce over freshly cooked rice, drizzle with sesame oil, and mix well to eat.
