- female crab 2~3 pieces
- ginger 1 piece
- green onion 1 handful
- soju (or distilled alcohol) 1/2 cup
- water as needed
Recipe 🍳
- Clean the female crab thoroughly under running water using a brush, making sure to scrub all corners and crevices.
- Lay sliced ginger and green onion generously on the bottom of the pot.
- Sprinkle soju over the ingredients to remove any fishy odor, then add water until the ingredients are just barely covered.
- Place the crab with its belly facing upward, then close the pot lid.
- Steam over medium heat for about 20 minutes, then let it rest off the heat for 10 minutes to finish steaming.
- Clean and prepare the crab thoroughly.
- Place ginger, green onion, soju, and water in the pot, just enough to cover the ingredients.
- Arrange the crab with its belly up, steam over medium heat for 20 minutes, then let it sit for 10 minutes.
