Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings

  • female crab 2~3 pieces
  • ginger 1 piece
  • green onion 1 handful
  • soju (or distilled alcohol) 1/2 cup
  • water as needed

Recipe 🍳

  1. Clean the female crab thoroughly under running water using a brush, making sure to scrub all corners and crevices.
  2. Lay sliced ginger and green onion generously on the bottom of the pot.
  3. Sprinkle soju over the ingredients to remove any fishy odor, then add water until the ingredients are just barely covered.
  4. Place the crab with its belly facing upward, then close the pot lid.
  5. Steam over medium heat for about 20 minutes, then let it rest off the heat for 10 minutes to finish steaming.

  2. Place ginger, green onion, soju, and water in the pot, just enough to cover the ingredients.
  3. Arrange the crab with its belly up, steam over medium heat for 20 minutes, then let it sit for 10 minutes.
