- Perilla oil to taste
- Ganjang gejang (meat and soy sauce brine) to taste

Recipe 🍳
- Bring water to a boil and cook the angel hair pasta, a thin type of pasta similar to somyeon, until al dente. Drain well. [00:01:05]
- Neatly coil the cooked pasta in a serving bowl and generously drizzle fragrant perilla oil around it. [00:01:05]
- Squeeze the body of the prepared ganjang gejang to extract the soft crab meat and place it on top of the noodles. Also drizzle some of the savory crab soy sauce brine over the pasta. [00:01:05]
- Sprinkle seasoned seaweed flakes on top for extra nuttiness, then place a fresh egg yolk in the center to complete the presentation. [00:01:05]
- Just before eating, break the yolk and gently toss everything together so the crab meat and soy sauce cling evenly to the thin angel hair noodles. [00:01:15]
- Cook the angel hair pasta, drain, and place in a bowl.
- Drizzle perilla oil over the noodles, then top with ganjang gejang meat and brine, and seasoned seaweed flakes in order.
- Finally, garnish with an egg yolk and mix vigorously with the sauce before enjoying.
Cooking tips 💡
- For this bibim pasta dish, using angel hair pasta — as thin as somyeon — is key because it allows the soy seasoning to cling moistly to the surface, far better than regular thick pasta. [00:01:05]
- If you prefer a slightly spicier and fresher taste, add a little chopped Cheongyang chili pepper or sesame seeds to taste — it works wonderfully. [00:01:15]
