Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings
- 2 sweet potatoes
- A small amount of water
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- An appropriate amount of mozzarella cheese
Recipe 🍳
- Line the bottom of a frying pan with parchment paper, add a small amount of water, and place the sweet potatoes on top.
- Cover with a lid and cook over low heat, steaming the sweet potatoes until they are soft all the way through.
- When the sweet potatoes are fully cooked and a chopstick slides in easily, take them out and make a deep vertical slit to create an opening.
- Fill the slit in the sweet potato with 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp honey.
- Top generously with mozzarella cheese, without any gaps.
- Put them back in the pan with the lid on until the cheese is completely melted, or heat them in the microwave to finish.
- Place parchment paper and water in a pan, put the sweet potatoes on top, cover with a lid, and cook until done.
- Make a vertical slit in the fully cooked sweet potatoes, then fill with butter and honey.
- Top with mozzarella cheese and heat until the cheese melts to finish.
Cooking tips 💡
- When cooking the sweet potatoes, the water may evaporate completely and they could burn, so check occasionally and add a little water as needed.
- Add the butter while the sweet potatoes are still hot right out of the pan so that the flavor blends well throughout without being greasy.
