Ingredients needed 🛒3 servings
- spring onion 1 bunch
- water dropwort 1 handful
- cucumber 1/2
- onion 1/4
- red pepper powder 2 tablespoons
- soy sauce 2 tablespoons
- minced garlic 1/2 tablespoon
- sesame seeds a little
Recipe 🍳
- Trim the base of the spring onion and separate the leaves one by one. Wash thoroughly and remove all moisture completely.
- Cut the dried spring onion into bite-sized pieces, and prepare the water dropwort by cutting it into finger-length pieces.
- Slice the cucumber diagonally and thinly slice the onion.
- Place the prepared spring onion, water dropwort, cucumber, and onion into a large mixing bowl.
- Add red pepper powder, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Gently toss with your hands until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and generously sprinkle sesame seeds on top to finish.
- Wash the spring onion, water dropwort, cucumber, and onion thoroughly and prepare them in bite-sized pieces.
- Place all the vegetables in a bowl and season with red pepper powder, soy sauce, and garlic.
- Gently mix without crushing the vegetables to preserve their freshness, then sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
Cooking tips 💡
- When tossing the spring onion, avoid pressing too hard as this can release bitterness and ruin the crisp texture—gently stir with your fingertips instead.
- For a more tangy-sweet flavor, try adding a small amount of vinegar and sugar.
