Ingredients needed 🛒4 servings
- Perilla leaves 50 sheets
- Delicious soybean paste 1.5 cups
- Cooking wine 4 tablespoons
- Tuna sauce 4 tablespoons
- Red pepper powder 3 tablespoons
- Onion 1/2
- Green chili peppers 6
- Red chili peppers 2
- Water 1/2 cup
- Sesame oil or perilla oil 2 tablespoons
- Toasted sesame seeds a little
Recipe 🍳
- Chop the onion finely.
- Cut green and red chili peppers in half, including the seeds, and chop finely.
- In a bowl, mix 1.5 cups of delicious soybean paste, 4 tablespoons of cooking wine, 4 tablespoons of tuna sauce, 3 tablespoons of red pepper powder, and the prepared vegetables to make the seasoning sauce.
- Wash the perilla leaves thoroughly and pat dry. Layer two leaves together and brush each pair with about 1 tablespoon of the seasoning sauce.
- Stack the seasoned perilla leaves neatly in a pot.
- Pour 1/2 cup of water into the remaining bowl with leftover seasoning, swirl to rinse, then gently pour it around the edges of the pot.
- Once steam begins to rise, cover the pot and steam over medium heat for 15 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, drizzle 2 tablespoons of sesame oil or perilla oil, and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top to finish.
- Mix chopped vegetables, delicious soybean paste, cooking wine, tuna sauce, and red pepper powder to make the seasoning sauce.
- Layer perilla leaves two at a time, brush with the sauce, and place in a pot.
- Add 1/2 cup of water, steam over medium heat for 15 minutes, then finish by drizzling oil and sprinkling sesame seeds.
