🙋 Recommended for

  • Those who need a clean and refreshing hangover soup the day after drinking.
  • Those who want to enjoy a deep and rich dried pollack broth dish.

Ingredients needed 🛒1 servings

  • 1 pack ramen
  • a handful of dried pollack strips
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 600ml water
  • 1 tablespoon salted shrimp
  • 1 Cheongyang pepper
  • 1/3 green onion
  • a handful of soybean sprouts

Recipe 🍳

  1. Soak a handful of dried pollack strips in water for about 30 seconds.
  2. Squeeze out the soaked dried pollack strips firmly with your hands to remove excess water.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a pot, add the soaked dried pollack strips, and stir-fry until fragrant.
  4. Pour in 600ml of water and add all the ramen seasoning powder.
  5. Add 1 tablespoon of salted shrimp for basic seasoning and deep umami, then add finely chopped Cheongyang pepper and green onion.
  6. Add a handful of washed soybean sprouts and the ramen noodles, and boil until everything is well combined.
  7. When the noodles are cooked to your liking, turn off the heat and transfer to a bowl.
  1. Soak dried pollack strips and squeeze out water, then stir-fry in sesame oil.
  2. Add water, seasoning powder, salted shrimp, Cheongyang pepper, and green onion to make the broth.
  3. Add soybean sprouts and noodles, and cook until crispy-tender.

Cooking tips 💡

  • If you soak the dried pollack strips too long, the flavorful components will leach out, so it's best to just moisten them briefly.
  • Since salted shrimp is added, it might become too salty, so adjust the amount of seasoning powder to suit your taste.
