Ingredients needed 🛒2 servings
- chicken breast 1 pack
- onion 1/2
- bell pepper 1/2
- tortilla 2~3 sheets
- mozzarella cheese generously
- tomato spaghetti sauce 3 tablespoons
- tonkatsu sauce 1 tablespoon
- parsley powder a little
Recipe 🍳
- Warm the chicken breast and tear it into small shreds with your hands. Place in a bowl.
- Cut half an onion and half a bell pepper, removing the seeds, and finely chop them to preserve texture.
- Combine the shredded chicken, chopped onion, and chopped bell pepper in a bowl.
- Add 3 tablespoons of tomato spaghetti sauce and 1 tablespoon of tonkatsu sauce for extra flavor. Mix well to complete the filling.
- Place a dry pan over low heat and lay one tortilla directly on it.
- Spread the chicken filling generously over half of the tortilla, leaving about 1 cm of space around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top according to preference, then fold the tortilla in half.
- Gently cook over low heat, flipping occasionally, until the cheese is fully melted and the outer tortilla turns golden and crisp.
- Cut the finished quesadilla into three equal pieces, then sprinkle parsley powder on top for serving.
- Chop chicken breast, onion, and bell pepper. Mix with tomato spaghetti sauce and tonkatsu sauce to make the filling.
- Place a tortilla on a dry pan, add filling and mozzarella cheese to half of it, then fold in half.
- Cook slowly over low heat, flipping back and forth, until the cheese melts and the outside becomes crispy.
Cooking tips 💡
- Do not fill the tortilla all the way to the edges, as overflowing filling can spill out during folding or flipping, leading to burning.
- Tortillas burn easily, so avoid oil and cook slowly over low heat to ensure the cheese melts completely without scorching.
